FileExtensionsManager is a utility that allows you to store and apply custom settings for file extensions registered in the operating system. The list of records shows the registry mappings stored in the currently selected record base. It provides a list of records showing the registry mappings stored in the currently selected record base. Green represents entries in the Windows registry, blue represents entries that partially correspond to user settings, and red represents missing entries. If a particular record is marked as deleted, entries not in the registry will be marked in green; otherwise, they will be displayed in red. You can change the record by double-clicking on the corresponding line and adding it with the corresponding button. In both cases, the information will be edited in a special window, and their accuracy is controlled by the application. You can also add entries from the Windows registry file.

You can apply items one at a time or all at once (all items are not applicable). The “Exit” button saves all changes in all facilities. If changes need to be undone, the widget must be closed with a cross in the upper right corner of the window.

Quick registration of file extensions is also available in the application. The registry entries created in the base are now selected, necessary to correctly map the extension and the application to work with it. In addition, the utility also allows you to select the icon for the created file type using the graphical interface. The function to view icons contained in executables, libraries, panel components or icons is available from the main interface.
