What does it do?

  • Create up to six new sections (permanent or temporary) from the faces of a 3D section box with a single click.
  • Create up to six sections at once, all of which form a section (including top and bottom).
  • Create up to four sections, one floor plan (top) and one reflected ceiling plan (bottom) at once.
  • Format sections by selecting a section type, floor plan type or ceiling type.
  • Exactly match the look and feel of 3D sections. Visual styles, categories & element overrides, scales, levels of detail, filters and display elements & hidden are displayed in the new view exactly as they are in the 3D section box*.
  • View Template Adds or applies an existing view template to a new view.
  • Sheet Adds the new view to an existing or new worksheet.
  • Name adds a prefix to the new view name.
  • Opens the new view as a tabbed window.
  • Deletes the most recently created set of new views and worksheets. Use these views as temporary views for modeling.
