BitFontCreator Pro is a professional bitmap font generator for your embedded project, helping you create monochrome bitmap fonts (1-bpp) and anti-aliased bitmap fonts ( 2-bpp and 4-bpp) for graphic LCD/LED. It just imports the font installed on your Windows PC and creates a C file representing that font. The C file includes jump tables and bitmap data of all characters.

BitFontCreator Pro can also export fonts in binary file format (*.bin) and ASM file format (*.asm). Bitmap data can be configured in many different formats.

How to use BitFontCreator Pro

Step 1: Import installed fonts

The first step is to create a new font project. Three ways you can choose: New font from scratch, Import existing system font or

Step 2: Edit character table

Choose only the characters your project needs. Disable useless characters, this will reduce the memory of your limited storage.

Step 3: Edit single character

In the Character Editor pane, you can edit single characters. Many tools are provided: Pencil, Line, Rectangle, Move up/down/left/right, Invert and Mirror.

Step 4: Configure the Bitmap data format

BitFontCreator provides many different bitmap data formats: Large or small Endian scan, Row or column scan, packed data or not, 8-bit/16-bit/32-bit data length.

Step 5: Export fonts

BitFontCreator can export fonts as C files (*.c), binary format files (*.bin), and ASM format files (*.asm).
