Softwares spSlab 10.00

spSlab is a highly efficient and widely used software for analysis, design and investigation of reinforced concrete floor systems, including beams, one-way floor systems (standard and wide modular beam systems), and two-way floor systems (waffle strip and slab). The software supports modeling of up to 20 spans and two cantilever beams of various types of floor systems. The software is used not only for new designs but also for evaluating and modifying existing floors. The software....

spSlab is a highly efficient and widely used software for analysis, design and investigation of reinforced concrete floor systems, including beams, one-way floor systems (standard and wide modular beam systems), and two-way floor systems (waffle strip and slab). The software supports modeling of up to 20 spans and two cantilever beams of various types of floor systems. The software is used not only for new designs but also for evaluating and modifying existing floors.

The software includes moment redistribution to reduce negative moments and reinforcement blockages, consideration of torsion in shear design, and support for a variety of design standards. The software integrates analysis tools for beam and floor systems, and replaces the functionality of spBeam, even integrating its functions.

Features of spSlab

  • Analysis, design and survey of reinforced concrete floor systems including beams, one-way and two-way slabs (including flat slabs, flat slabs with drop plates, strip slabs, pan beams, skip beams and waffle slabs)
  • Ability to integrate up to 20 spans and two cantilever beams in each model
  • Strength survey capabilities to evaluate and modify existing building slabs
  • Moment redistribution feature allows up to 20% reduction in negative moments on supports to reduce reinforcement congestion
  • Incorporate torsional effects in beam system design and survey
  • Design and survey modes to modify or check reinforcement configurations steel
  • Supports ACI 318 and CSA A23.3 design standards
  • Supports slab systems with drop plates, column/shear caps, transverse and longitudinal beams, ribs and slab strips
  • Calculates instantaneous and long-term deflections
  • Designs and surveys for bending, shear and torsion
  • Allows mixed span types in one-way or two-way systems
  • Automatic or manual moment distribution factors and reinforcing strip widths
  • Reinforcement scheduling including rebar quantity, size and length
  • Ability to add or subtract self-weight from limit load combinations and service loads
  • And much more...
