Sugar Bytes Thesys is a powerful and flexible MIDI step sequencer plugin, designed to create creative and complex patterns with deep control over pitch, velocity, gate time and modulation. The plugin features a unique multi-lane step sequencer environment, where each lane (pitch, velocity, gate, etc.) can have a different step length, creating evolving, non-repeating patterns. The plugin supports multiple scales, randomization, sequence mutation, and has performance features that make it easy to manipulate and perform live.

Thesys also includes its own built-in synthesizer for quick sound creation, but works great as a MIDI controller to control external hardware or software synthesizers. The plugin can send pitch, velocity, gate, MIDI CC, and other modulation messages, making it extremely flexible in production or live setups. Plugin is available as VST2, AU, AAX and standalone on Windows and Mac systems (64-bit).
