FHC can calculate any type of hydraulic model

From the most complex fire sprinkler systems with roofs and supports, mist systems, sprinkler systems, fire hydrants or water gun installations. In addition, FHC can calculate virtually any water-based fire protection system and is very flexible. Any pipe network can be built from a simple tree, loop to multiple loop systems, or any combination.

As you create a pipe network in FHC and as you connect pipes, FHC automatically finds any tees and elbows and looks up the equivalent length in its extensive pipe and fitting database. This saves you significant time and reduces the chance of data entry errors. Additionally, if you change the pipe configuration, FHC automatically makes the necessary fitting adjustments to ensure your hydraulic model is up to date.

FHC will give you the results you need in seconds, allowing you to focus on optimizing your system for the most economical design. Alternatively, you can choose to use the Hazen-Williams or Darcy-Weisbach pressure loss equations to calculate pipe friction losses. FHC is suitable for fire sprinkler systems & high and low pressure water mist systems, and other demanding systems.

FHC can calculate the source pressure and flow required for the system, or you can specify a fire pump curve, constant pressure pump, or city water supply and FHC will balance the system with the water supply.
