Transient and fixed EQ

  • Using a proprietary algorithm developed in-house, sound is precisely separated into permanent and transient components that you can control independently using the T/S knob on each band frequency. More sharper details are revealed than just the beginning of the percussion instruments. For example, on a piece of music, a fixed signal will contain all the smooth musical elements, and a transient signal will contain all of the harsh rapidly changing harmonic elements.

Dynamic EQ

  • There are four types of dynamic processing: compression down, compression up, expansion down, and expansion up. These effectively increase or decrease the quiet or loud parts of the signal. We made this easy to understand by introducing the To and Silent buttons. High volume means the band kicks in when the signal crosses the threshold. Silent means the band kicks in when the signal is below the threshold. So to boost only the quiet parts of your sound, add a regular EQ gain, click Q, adjust the threshold and you're good to go!

Parallel EQ

  • Parallel filters interact much less with their cascading filters for a more transparent dynamic. Using the parallel filters of the M/S and L/R knobs can be precisely positioned in the stereo field. Our filter technology is purpose-built to process parameters and modulated signals quickly for transparent dynamics and transient handling.
