- Four features include an exact 1:1 replica of the M500 panning rule.
- Downmix stereo input to mono before processing.
- Free-run modulation or server synchronization with eleven panning/tremolo waveforms covering all waveforms in the M500.
- Trigger audio levels with threshold control, or trigger MIDI notes to adjust the intensity of the effect via the dedicated, adjustable envelope generator.
- Use MIDI note number or CC control to control panning.
- Panstation 2 uses an XML-based reservation manager.
