Shortcuts Search And Replace allows you to search for a shortcut's target path, working directory, arguments, and icon location content. You can override shortcut target paths, working folders, arguments, and icon location content - this will be useful when moving portable applications to another drive or another folder. It can also search for dead links, to resolve or remove them (resolve multiple times/remove with one click). You also have the option to copy selected or all files to your clipboard, or you can save them to XML, TXT, HTML, or CSV file formats.

Search and Replace shortcuts can manage multiple custom folders. There are two options. You can enter it in the "Custom path" field:

  • Multiple directories are divided by ';' like "C:\Directory1;C:\Directory2;C:\Directory3"
  • The path of a text file contains a directory per line with a "File:" prefix such as "File:C:\YourTextFile.txt."

During the replace preview of the replace operation, if the modified link does not target an existing file, the item will be automatically deselected and a warning image will be used for the shortcut .
