Genuine Soundware ECHO B2 is the digital recreation of a specific unit of the Binson Echorec B2 mod. T5E from 1965. Although this unit is very old, it still has the tubes intact and has been used very little in the past 30 years. We didn't know what this device sounded like when it was new, but this is what it sounds like today, in 2022. It must be said that the Echorec B2, although less well-known than its big brother, is. its Echorec 2, but shares with it the same drums, the same heads, the same mechanics and almost the same circuitry, practically the same sound in a more compact device. Plugin has all the controls found on original gear, plus 4 extra knobs to adjust the alignment of each head (aka Azimuth on tape machines), an extra knob to slow down the motor drum down to half normal speed (to achieve twice the delay) and a final knob to adjust the level of audible circuit hiss.
