Features of Double Commander

  • Internal text editor (F4) with syntax highlighting
  • Integrated file viewer (F3) to view files in hex, binary or text format
  • Archive files are treated like subdirectories. You can easily copy files to and from the archive. Supported archive types: ZIP, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, LZMA, 7Z and also RPM, CPIO, DEB, RAR, ZIPX
  • Extended search functionality with full-text search in any file
  • Configurable button bar to start external programs or internal menu commands
  • Total Support for Commander WCX, WDX, WFX and WLX plug-ins.
