Glary Disk SpeedUp ((formerly Disk Defrag) is a comprehensive Windows tool designed to defragment local drives and optimize space. A number of powerful features for advanced users, all wrapped in a clean and attractive GUI.

Defragmentation or optimization of selected volumes is done with the press of a button. Alternatively, you can schedule your PC to automatically power off after defragmentation. Automatic defragmentation can be enabled to run automatic defragmentation when the PC is idle, along with the option to pause when the CPU or disk usage exceeds a certain point. This can be done on one or more selected drives at the same time. Furthermore, defragmentation only, or defragmentation and optimization can be scheduled periodically.

Regarding settings, Glarysoft Disk SpeedUp is only capable of defragmentation of files with small or large fragmentation (depending on user specific preferences), while optimizations can be applied to User-defined archive files, video files, and disc images. Meanwhile, it is possible to exclude files from defragmentation, change the UI language, set the application to auto-run at system boot, etc.
