Guthrie CAD Viewer 2021 A.09

Guthrie CAD Viewer is an application developed for users who want to view CAD drawings without using complex software, such as AutoCAD. The interface looks familiar, so the user should not experience any navigation issues. Opening the drawing can only be done using the file browser, as drag and drop is not supported.

Standard tools include print, zoom, rotate on the drawing area, rotate and select (predefined 3D view). For relevant options, you can specify an initial view for DXF and DWG files (e.g. zoomed to fit, last saved) and raster (e.g., rotate board head for BMP and JPG).

Alternatively, you can set the printer's original page orientation, raster image in the drawing options (e.g. always skipped) and Xrefs in the drawing (e.g. browse if not found ), and enable confirmation on the exit menu and hide it from the main application window.

CAD Viewer is very sensitive to commands and runs on a fairly low amount of CPU and RAM, so it does not put a strain on the overall performance or interfere with the runtime of other applications. We didn't run into any issues during our tests, as the app didn't crash or crash. In conclusion, CAD Viewer offers a simple alternative to viewing CAD files.
