When an area is read from your hard drive, the total inspection of that area must match that area data. When this is not accurate, the hard disk recognizes that the incident occurred during the recording process-the incident was called bad sector. There are many causes that lead to bad sector as blackout during recording or malfunctioning of the hard drive.

Hard Disk Validator provides you with a way to see if there is a bad area so you can overwrite it by removing the so-called bad area. If you are recovering from a power outage, then check Read + Wipe Damaged + Read will be the fastest way to clear the bad ingredients. If something is wrong with your drive, you should backup the data and select the Write + Verify check. This particular test will delete all data on disk. All tests record a log file that can be copied for later use.
