AD054 Other Desert Cities is a workshop for creativity. True to its name, there are many strange and wonderful things hidden inside. With six algorithms, each with its own characteristics and extensive modulation capabilities, the AD054 Other Desert Cities can fill many niches, from basic stereo double delay to detailed pitch-shifting chaos never heard of before.

Algorithm:

  • Desert Shores stereo delay. This is a standard dual delay, with basic EQ, saturation, cross feed and spread.
  • Mecca reverse delay. Normal double delay, except for reverse playback.
  • Double triangle delay of cactus. This is like a pair of tape delays being used, with individual rate controls and pitch quantization.
  • Thermal Mullti-Tap delay. A dual multi tap, with spread, cross feed and basic EQ.
  • Mirage multi-head delay. Imagine if you had tape delay, but the head was like a rotary head in a VCR. Experimental, weird and wonderful.
  • Sky Valley granular delay. Highly variable granular delay, with control over particle size and dispersion as well as with EQ.
