Dawesome Kontrast is designed as a radical reinvention of wavetable synthesis, giving users a way to "explore sound as terrain" rather than simply scanning a wavetable. Its main innovation is the ability to non-linearly sweep the wavetables, allowing the sound to "breathe" and develop naturally with rich color, texture, and movement, as opposed to the traditional single-axis modulation found in most wavetable synthesizers.
