Memory List Manager 2.1.4

Memory List Manager (also known as MemListMgr) is a small, lightweight utility for clear standby memory and flush caches without loading an entire heavy system resource application like SystemInformer. Windows keeps memory contents that it thinks you can use again soon and marked as standby, this memory is theoretically 'available' but memory management is not always perfect and high continuous standby and especially modified memory can cause reduced system performance, certain problems with some memory-intensive applications or even lead to run out errors fake memory and cause system instability.

Available commands:

• Clear backup RAM: Clear backup memory at all priority levels.
• Clear only low-priority standby RAM: Clear only low-priority standby memory. On Windows 10, this seems to just mean Priority 0.
• Clear modified RAM: Commit memory waiting to be written to disk.
• Empty working set: Empty system and user working set memory to modified or standby. If you plan to use this, you should use it before deleting the backup storage.

Advanced:

• Combine pages: Eliminate duplication of certain memory content.
• Purge registration cache: Commit pending registration operations to disk.
• Clear system file cache: Delete files currently stored in memory for quick access.

Command line and system tray

In addition to the GUI, the above commands can be run silently without opening the application GUI by using the following command line switches:

• /clearstdby - Clear backup memory
• /clearlpstdby - Clear low priority backup memory
• /flushmod - Flush modified memory
• /emptyws - Empty working set.
• /combine - Combine pages.
• /flushreg - Flush the registry cache
• /flushfiles - Flush file cache
