Komodo Chess is a UCI chess tool developed by Don Tweetsey and Mark Lefler, and supported by chess author and reviewer. The new Komodo 14 is once again 40 points stronger than its predecessor. But what is quite new is how diverse it can be. In addition to the standard version, there are seven other “personalities” that all have their own play style: aggressive, defensive, active, position, ending, beginner and human.
Komodo 14 is expected to achieve the highest rating on the majority of the most popular chess tool ranking lists. Previous versions of Komodo have won acclaimed engine tournaments such as TCEC and CCT. In 2019, Komodo has twice won the world champion title and could call himself the "2019 World Computer Chess Champion" and "The 2019 World Chess Software Champion". And the current Komodo 14 has been markedly improved over its predecessor!
