APU Software APU Loudness Series 3.5.0

APU Software recently made important updates to its Loudness Series, including APU Loudness Meter, APU Loudness Compressor, APU Dynamics Optimizer, APU Loudness Limiter.

APU Loudness Compressor is a compressor/expander designed to support modern loudness types (LUFS, True Peak). The result is a compressor with a more transparent sound. The compressor is also capable of operating in a more traditional way, using RMS and Peak measurement units, so you can have your cake and eat it too. APU Dynamics Optimizer is a dynamics optimization tool designed to support modern volume types (LUFS, True Peak). Under the hood, the optimizer uses the same compression engine as the APU Volume Compressor, but benefits from a full audio waveform instead of real-time measurements. This allows the gain envelope to be meticulously optimized across the entire waveform.

APU Loudness Limiter is a real-time limiter designed to support multiple volume types simultaneously. The limiter can be configured to use LUFS, True Peak, RMS and/or Peak volume types. This allows you to target multiple requests simultaneously, such as a specific LUFS target and a specific True Peak target. Internally, the limiter's ballistics are adjusted to accommodate different volume type limiter settings.

APU Loudness Meter is a free dynamic range analyzer that supports a variety of loudness types (LUFS, True Peak, RMS, Peak).
