Modern hard disks are set to automatically switch to sleep mode (also known as idle time) whenever file operations are no longer happening. This is a method that is supposed to help cool the physical disk and extend its lifespan. However, if you want to prevent this from happening, such as if you want to disk quickly to respond to files of the file even if in the standby mode for long periods, then you can adjust the built-in settings of the machine to turn off.

Being designed for casual users, Vovsoft Prevent Computer Sleep is extremely simple to use. It can be scheduled to create a pure text document (TXT) in any disc you choose, whether it is a local or external disk. After a quick installation that only requires minimal intervention, the tool opens a simple window that displays all available options. When you determine the drives that you want to prevent you from switching to sleep states, you need to select the appropriate drive characters from the menu, set the record time interval (in seconds, for a minimum of 10 seconds), edit the name TXT will be created, as well as clicking the 'Start' button.

It is placed inside the specified folder in the selected disk, so it is not difficult to follow. The application does not create multiple files per disk. Instead, it updates a document by adding the date and time. This is also useful for recording its activity and finding the exact time of each recording. Whenever you want to shut down Vovsoft Prevent Computer Sleep, just stop the operation after you go back to the main app window.
