Channel Robot DuoTone Collection v2.0

Channel Robot DuoTone Collection is a sample library created by Channel Robot, a company specializing in sample-based instrument and sound design. The DuoTone Collection is a set of virtual instruments that offer a unique and versatile range of sounds.

The collection features a variety of instruments and sound sources that are sampled, processed, and tuned to produce distinct tonal and textural characteristics. It includes instruments such as pianos, guitars, synths, drums, and more, all carefully designed to provide multiple soundboards for music production, film scoring, and sound design.

The focus of Channel Robot DuoTone Collection is to provide expressive and evolving sounds that can add depth and character to your compositions. Samples are often processed using techniques such as granular synthesis, time stretching, filtering, and modulation to create dynamic and atmospheric textures.

Channel Robot DuoTone Collection includes:

• Chorus: DuoTone Chorus has been completely reworked for version 2, we wanted a good choir that brought us all those sounds from our '70s Roland Chorus hardware .
• Compressor: Again – completely reworked for version 2. Here we wanted a more flexible and transparent compressor.
• Delay: This time adds two Delay methods, real ping pong delay and ice delay.
• Distortion: Replacing DuoTone Shaper, we used the Shaper effect and added two more – Dirt and Dist for more distorted and dirty results
• Flanger: A whole new effect, but again we're aiming for those smooth analog-y flanges we find in our hardware collections
• Gate: Not much to change here, so we gave it a brand new UI and left it as is.
• Phaser: Again, a whole new, more holistic approach to phaser effects, with more control over how it produces results – to be fair, we have Might have gone a little too far in terms of controls with this one.
• Tremolo: Again, it looks fine – so we updated the UI and left it as is.
