NemaStudio provides professional developers of NMEA products with a very powerful testing and development tool by simulating the output of marine equipment and objects. Various target objects including GPS, AIS and Radar. Instruments, targets, and portals can all be combined and mixed, which means you can have multiple instances of several objects passing through the same or different ports simultaneously. This makes this navigation sensor simulation software program well suited for ECDIS training and simulation.

Data can be collected and processed by various navigation devices that support the NMEA/IEC61162 protocol. This allows you to very comfortably test NMEA products in your own environment, so the need for field testing is greatly reduced. Virtual instruments have configurable dynamic settings that give you full control over your testing parameters.

Features of NemaStudio

• Devices, sensors, targets, and ports can be combined and mixed, which means you can have multiple instances of several objects transmitting simultaneously over the same or different ports .
• Dynamic parameters common to all objects (altitude, cruising speed and rudder) are collected in a table called "control center". Common parameters of a more static nature can be configured in a separate tab.
• The settings and "current state" of all objects can be optionally saved on exit, so when you restart the program you can continue where you left off.
• The graphical user interface (GUI) is very flexible, with resizable panels that can be hidden and repositioned at will. NemaStudio includes an embedded text editor to easily edit NMEA data without having to leave the program when text editing is required.
• NemaStudio supports both NMEA 0183 version 2.20 and 2.30/3.01/4.0 and IEC 61162.
