Features of RUNET FRAME2Dexpress

  • Structures are defined using the structure prototype wizard, with 21 built-in frame types, or by giving node coordinates and element connections.
  • The graph of the structure appears simultaneously with the data you enter.
  • Support conditions are determined from the graphical menu.
  • Cross sections are defined by their area and inertia properties or by their dimensions (rectangular, T-shaped, or L-shaped).
  • For structural steel, a list of all available nominal steel grades with their properties.
  • Load a button with a dead and alive component.
  • The load is distributed over the element (homogeneous, triangular, parabolic), with dead and live components. Self-weight may or may not be included. The load-bearing element is distributed in a vertical, horizontal or perpendicular direction to the element.
  • The load combination factors can be determined by the user.
  • Material properties can be selected from the menu.
  • Nodal mass corresponding to static or live load.
  • The mass combination factor for the node mass or the distributed mass of the element due to the live and dead weights can be determined by the user.
  • In reports, strain values are included along with bending moments, shear forces and axial forces in the diagrams of all elements.
  • Unit: Metric unit.
