Trackspacer creates space in a mix by carving the frequencies required by the main track into another track in real time. Similar to a sidechain compressor, but a thousand times more powerful and more transparent. It is considered a secret mixing weapon by many artists, producers and engineers.

Trackspacer has 32-band EQ that responds to incoming sidechain signal. It analyzes the sidechain's spectrum and applies the inversion EQ curve to another track. That way, you're making room for a given track by cutting out the exact frequencies it needs in real time for another track.

With version 2.0, the plugin has been improved by introducing new functions for better audio control. Introducing M / S or L / R modes you can now apply effects only to the middle, two-side channel, or anything in between. With attack and release controls, you can now set how the Trackspacer responds to an incoming signal and how it handles, making it smoother or smaller like a conventional compressor.

The audio processor responds to the input signal and produces the output signal. This input signal can be direct or external, external also known as "side chain". It is very common to use sidechain compressors, especially in EDM, to adjust one track based on the level of another sound track.

The compressor responds to the amplitude / volume / level of the audio signal. Based on how large the source signal is, they apply more or less compression. Multi-band compressors divide the signal into different bands and apply different settings per band, but detection is the same as for conventional machines.

Trackspacer divides the source signal into 32 bands and analyzes them individually. It then reverses the result and applies 32-band EQ to precisely tune the frequencies the source needs ... and in real time! That's why it's much better, transparent and easier to use than a regular compressor, it's all just detecting.
