To help plan outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, fishing, and photography, this app displays the current position of the sun and moon in the sky. The time slider allows you to animate the sun and moon to see where they will be at any hour of the day.

The application also allows you to calculate the position of the sun and moon, their rising and setting times in any location and on any day, as well as sunset time at sea and altitude the light of the moon. If you know the RA and Dec of stars or planets, you can also enter this information to find their current position in the sky.

In addition, you can also choose to create a forecast of sunrise/sunset times and lunar or solar illumination for a certain period of time.

A compass page is also included to help orient your phone to find the moon's current position. (The compass page requires your phone to have a magnetic field sensor).
