Excel add-ins provide essential tools for anyone using Excel to perform mathematical, engineering, and scientific calculations. It simplifies mathematical and engineering work in Excel by converting formulas in cells into easily readable, text-formatted equations and adding math-focused tools.

Features of FormulaDesk Math

• View your formulas as mathematical notation. It's fully customizable to exactly how you want to view it.
• Equations are displayed in a math-friendly format, showing Greek letters, etc.
• If named regions or 'left cells' contain the name of a Greek letter, such as alpha, beta, pi, etc., the equation will display the Greek symbol instead.
• Greek letters can also be written with a backslash '\' at the beginning, for example: \pi, \alpha. In fact, if the value of a cell is a sentence consisting of Greek letters, the letter name MUST be preceded by a backslash '\', otherwise they will be ignored.
• Customize how referenced cells are displayed. Instead of B23, see: Address, Name, Value, Left Cell, Formatted Value, Table Title.
• Copy or save the equation to paste elsewhere in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, or other Microsoft Office applications.
• Copy or save as an equation object or as an image (PNG).
• Insert automatically updating mathematical equations to your formulas.
• Dynamic (or static) equations. Note down your formulas by adding dynamic (automatically updating) equations to your spreadsheet.
• Add the equation shown in the Mathematical Equation Viewer to the current spreadsheet. 'Dynamic' equations will automatically update when the formula in the cell changes.
• Static (non-dynamic) equations will not automatically update when the underlying formula changes.
