There is no need to scan individually-with xTex, you can easily color your material again.

Internal reconstructs are in real time and based on OpenGL. xTex comes with some basic geometry (spherical, plane and fabric) and environment texture but you can also download your own. The geometric format supported is Collada (.dae).
