MC Group Voltage Drop Calculator 23.6.6

This application, modified to meet 2020 NEC and 2021 CEC, provides voltage drop calculations according to Tables 9 and 8 of the US National Electrical Code for AC and DC power supplies. Color coding of maximum allowable gain (at different ambient temperatures) according to US and Canadian codes - helps in choosing the right wire size.

Full load amps for typical built-in motors. The calculator estimates the power supply operating temperature and allows to set the power supply resistance values closer to the operating temperature and see the impact on the voltage drop. For wires or cables other than those listed in Table 9, clearances are provided to facilitate calculations using parameters provided by the manufacturer.
