Serlog processes your server logs and answers several important marketing questions: What search keywords are visitors using? Which websites are sending traffic to our site? And most importantly, which websites are referring visitors to make purchases?

Serlog also includes all the standard statistics and reports you would expect from a server log analysis tool: visits, sessions, visitors, browser, platform, crawler, bandwidth, country, inbound/outbound pages, errors, search engine, etc.

• Serlog reports the number of visitors other websites are sending to your site ("referrals") and how many of those visitors become paying customers ("conversions"). This is very useful for identifying where advertising can be effective, where it is profitable, and where it is being wasted. Without this knowledge, your marketing resources will be used far less efficiently, and your business will lose revenue.
• Serlog reports the number of referrals for each search keyword. Keywords can be broken down separately for each page. This allows you to identify which keywords should be targeted by pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns.
• Serlog also reports the total number of visits from each search engine. This allows you to focus your PPC engagement on the search engines that bring in the most traffic.
• Because you have more than one product, the scope of all reports can be limited to a set of files or a single file. • Serlog is a desktop application that runs on 64-bit Windows (XP and later).
• No modifications to the website are required. No software installation on the web server is required.
• It is possible to create a document containing a set of customizable reports. This document can be in two formats: a collection of HTML files and images, or it can be compiled into a single, self-contained CHM file. CHM files can be opened on any system with Internet Explorer 4 or later. Download logs from an FTP server.
• Charts can be divided by day, week, or month. Day of the week and Hour of the day modes are also supported.
• Crawler errors and traffic can be excluded from the report.
• Incorrect referencing links can be reported. This is useful for informing other websites that they have broken links.
• If the log file format is not one of the available settings and cannot be automatically detected, you can configure the format manually. This allows Serlog to analyze many uncommon formats. The "Explanation of Tests" tool supports manual configuration.
• Supports log files compressed within .ZIP, .RAR, .BZ2, .GZ, .TGZ, .TBZ, and .7Z archive files.
• Settings used to generate a single report can be saved to "Presets" for later retrieval.
• Data files used to detect browsers, platforms, search engines, and crawlers are simple text files that users can edit.
• All settings used to perform log analysis can be saved to a "project" file.
