Ruler App: Camera Tape Measure v6.4.6

ARCore Ruler App - A powerful measuring tool that takes advantage of Augmented Reality. The AR Ruler app uses augmented reality (AR) technology to measure the real world with your smartphone's camera. Aim at the detected plane and start using the AR tape measure tool:

• Line - allows to tape measure linear dimensions in cm, m, ft, yd, using a mm or inch ruler.
• Distance meter - allows to tape measure the distance from the device camera to a fixed point on the detected 3D plane.
• Angle - allows to tape measure angles on a 3D plane.
• Area and Perimeter.
• Volume - allows to tape measure the dimensions of 3D objects.
• Path - allows to calculate the length of a path.
• Height - allows to tape measure the height relative to the recognized surface.

The Photo Ruler app is designed to accurately tape measure the dimensions of any object by taking a photo or measuring on the screen. Photo Ruler app allows you to measure anything as conveniently and accurately as when using a regular mm ruler or tape measure.

Photo Ruler app:

First, make sure that the object you want to measure with a tape measure and an object of known length (Base Item) are in the same image. There is a list of predefined Base Items in the tape measure app settings, including Debit/Credit Card and Quarter. Select the item you have. Use the Base Item that is closest in size to the object you want to measure with a tape measure using the Tape Measure app.

Second, make sure that the Base Item and the object you want to measure with a tape measure using the Tape Measure app are on the same plane and the camera of the tape measure app is parallel to them. This is necessary to avoid distortion caused by the tape measure app's camera angle.

Align the blue arrows with the base item and the green arrows with the object you want to measure with the tape measure. The length of the measured object will be displayed on the Tape Measure app screen.
