CalepiLight is a modular overlay software, based on the CalepiLib function library from BOOLE & PARTNERS. CalepiLight consists of a series of overlay modules whose propagation will overlay an outer contour, taking into account its internal openings. The size, color, texture, joints, initial position and rotation of the module, as well as the propagation modes, are all adjustable. After each coating, CalepiLight will edit a global summary, detailing the number of modules, the cutoff ratio and the joint linearities.

Alignment and Rotation

• Whether the joint size should be added to or subtracted from the module size (depending on the module geometry),
• The rate at which the inter-row spreads, when the module allows quincunx.

CalepiLight will compile a complete summary including the number of modules, the cut-off ratio and the joint linearity. For composite modules, the summary is detailed per sub-module, taking into account the grouping of identical sub-modules.
