ForceDelete provides you with the power to unlock and delete files/folders even if they are used by other processes. ForceDelete will be useful when you get an error message "Cannot delete file: Access is denied" or "The file is used by another program" when trying to delete specific files and folders on Windows. ForceDelete will help to work around the lock and force the deletion of the file or folder.

ForceDelete includes an option that allows you to delete the locked files and folders without termining the processes. This process is done by selecting the "Close Processes" option, dragging the files/folders to delete and dropping them into the hole in the user interface. ForceDelete will then delete the files/folders that do not close the processes and programs that are using them.

ForceDelete also has the "Shred Files" option for users to delete files/folders from permanent hard drives. In addition, ForceDelete supports the bulk command line mode that allows you to remove the yedelete.exe from the command line and delete the bulk file/folder series.

ForceDelete can handle the following to delete:

• "Cannot delete File: Access is denied"
• "There has been a sharing violation"
• "The file is used by another process"
• "The source or destination file may be in use"
• "The file is open in system"
• "The file is in use by another program or user"
• "Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use"
