Adobe Firefly is a family of generic AI models created by Adobe for their Creative Cloud suite. Firefly's vision is to help people expand their natural creativity. As a model embedded within Adobe products, Firefly will provide Generative AI tools specifically for creative needs, use cases, and workflows.

Firefly has been trained on image datasets from Adobe Stock, open-licensed works, and expired public domain material. Adobe warrants that the images created are safe for commercial use and do not infringe the intellectual property rights of others or trademarks.

Currently, Firefly's AI focuses on animating images and text, and one of the main USPs is modifying and creating content-aware images right in Photoshop. Firefly supports a feature called Generative Fill that allows you to change the original image (add and remove objects, change the weather, shape of the object, etc) taking into account perspective, lighting, and style.
